Terms of Service for Story Submission

Welcome to The Dadventure Show's Story Submission Platform! We're excited that you're considering sharing your science fiction, fantasy, or horror stories with us. Before you submit your work, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions:

1. Submission Guidelines:

  • Submitted stories must fall within the genres of science fiction, fantasy, or horror.

  • The content should be original and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

  • Stories containing profanity, graphic descriptions of violence or gore, sexual content, illegal drug use, or any other offensive content will not be considered for use and will be promptly deleted.

2. Copyright Ownership:

  • By submitting your story to The Dadventure Show, you retain the copyright to your work.

  • You grant Dadventure Media Group, the producer of The Dadventure Show, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and distribute your submitted story for the purpose of featuring it on the podcast, related promotional materials, and on The Dadventure Show's website.

3. Permission for Use:

  • By submitting your story, you grant The Dadventure Show permission to use your name (or pen name) in connection with the submitted story.

4. Author Credit and Promotion:

  • The Dadventure Show is committed to crediting authors appropriately. If your story is selected, we will include your name (or pen name) when featuring your story on the podcast, related promotional materials, and on The Dadventure Show's website.

  • If you provide a Patreon link, and your story is selected, we may promote it along with your story to support and acknowledge your creative work. The inclusion of Patreon links is at the author's discretion.

5. Exclusivity:

  • This agreement does not grant The Dadventure Show exclusive rights to your story. You are free to publish, distribute, and sell your story elsewhere.

6. Editing and Adaptation:

  • The Dadventure Show may edit your story for clarity, grammar, and overall coherence. We may also adapt the story for performance purposes on the podcast.

7. Fan Fiction:

  • Fan fiction submissions will not be considered for use. Please submit only original works within the specified genres.

8. Right to Not Publish:

  • Dadventure Media Group reserves the right to not publish submitted stories, especially those that do not align with our content guidelines or for any other reason deemed appropriate by our editorial team.

9. Removal of Content:

  • If you wish to have your story removed from The Dadventure Show's platforms, you can contact us. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, it's important to note that the permission granted to The Dadventure Show to use and distribute your story is generally irrevocable, except where prohibited by law.

10. Age Requirement:

  • You must be 18 years or older to submit a story. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must submit the story on your behalf.

11. Agreement Acceptance:

  • By submitting your story, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

12. Dispute Resolution:

  • Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiations between the parties.

13. Changes to Terms: - Dadventure Media Group reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or on our website.
